After porting Half-Life, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Quake 12 and Doom 12 to the Oculus Quest in full VR, they have now ported Doom 3 to the Oculus Quest, also in full VR.

Doom 3 was already available in VR on the PC and it is amazing.

But now you can play Doom 3 on the Oculus Quest no PC required You have to own the original Doom 3 on Steam (or CD-Rom and patch it to 1.3.1).

Not the BFG edition.

There is also a PCVR mod for Doom 3, for the PCVR mod you need the Doom 3 BFG edition.

Definitely dated design but still the best port to vr yet.

Unlike others, it doesnt get past the blood-brain barrier (which makes you tired) and it DOES fix motion sickness.

Especially as it could put me out of commotion for almost a day.

What works for me is moving my feet in place like i was jogging at the same time im moving my vr character.

Couldnt cross the jump to get the red key in map02: A noble effort and very neat to see it in VR but definitely not the kind of game that is suited for it.

I only played the PCVR mod and I cant recall that movement speed was changed.

I know most of the Dr Beef Quest mods allow you to modify the walking speed in the options.

Keep in mind for the PCVR mod you need the Doom 3 BFG Edition This mod works awesome.

The PCVR mod also supports both DLCs that are included in the BFG edition.

You might want to check the VR settings inside the mod, because the default settings may be not so great (especially movement options).
